The operation of the Community Chest starts with your contributions. By contributing to the Maynard Community Chest, you join the ranks of concerned Maynard citizens interested in helping their community thrive. There are many ways to contribute, select an option that’s most convenient for you:

Contribute Online

Maynard Community Chest has partnered with Network for Good to provide its service for donating with a credit card or through Pay Pal. You can give one-time or set up monthly recurring donations and you have the option of making a donation in honor or in memory of someone. Network for Good securely handles your personal and credit card information using the same standard security as online shopping.

There is a 4.75% processing fee for credit card or Pay Pal donations, however, which you can either choose to pay yourself or it will be deducted from your total donation. You will receive automated tax receipt from Network for Good and the Maynard Community Chest will also acknowledge each credit card/Pay Pal donation.

Make a meaningful gift in honor or in memory of someone special and support your local community at the same time. The Maynard Community Chest is offering letters for donations made in honor or in memory of family, friends, neighbors or colleagues. We will send an acknowledgment letter to the person or people you are honoring (amount held confidential) and will send you a receipt for your tax records. We will also post all donations in honor or in memory of loved ones on our website.

Contribute By Payroll Deduction

Designate the Maynard Community Chest on your workplace’s United Way campaign.

If you work for any of the following companies (and probably for a variety of other companies as well), you can designate the Maynard Community Chest on your company’s annual United Way campaign with the designation code 530288. Town of Maynard Employees can click here to download a form to allow for payroll deduction. Fill out and return the bottom tear-off form to either the Town of Maynard Treasurer or the Maynard Public Schools payroll officer.
